Jed Emert Comes Out on
Top for Home Track Win
(September
20, 2025) Jed Emert won Saturday’s Topless Outlaws
Late Model Series race in convincing fashion. Emert led all 50
laps to get the biggest win at his home town track. (MRM

As Emert was in command of the race, battles were happening
behind him. Brandon Kinzer wasted no time in getting by Cameron
Weaver and Reed Hatchett to move into third. Kinzer would battle
Rusty Ballenger for second throughout most of the race. Kinzer
briefly took second only to lose it on the next restart. Weaver
and Bobby Giffin took turns battling for fifth during the mid
portion of the race.
As the laps wound down and leaders were negotiating slower traffic,
Ballenger would get within three car lengths of Emert. But Emert
was took strong and comfortably won the race with Ballenger and
Kinzer rounding out the top three.
Colby Horner won the sportsman late model feature over Cameron
Hawkins. Hawkins made several attempts for the lead on restarts.
Horner maintained the lead each time to secure the win.
David Singleton dominated the 602 late model race. Darrenn Deverell
held second for much of the race until Dawson Lowe slid by to
take second.
Cody Rector won the crash-filled front wheel drive feature.
Pole sitter Brandon Porstner spun on the opening lap and had to
start the race from the rear following a pit stop. Rector took
the lead and held off the likes of Amelia McClain, Jeff Bloch,
and Jason Ketron as they all battled for second. As that battle
took place, Porstner made his way through the field and took second
with a few laps remaining. Porstner could not catch Rector who
took the win.
